Terms of Service

Last updated 8 September 2026

The short version. PrintNext is a marketplace. You upload a document, we quote it, and an independent print shop near you prints it. The shop does the printing; we handle the ordering, payment and the paperwork between you. You keep every right in the files you upload — we only use them to get your job printed. If a job comes out wrong, raise a dispute and we will look at it. Promotional wallet credit is the one kind of money on the platform that cannot be withdrawn or refunded.

This document is not yet complete.

The operating company's registered details and the name of our Grievance Officer are still to be published here. Until then, please contact us at support@printnext.me for anything you would otherwise raise with them.

1.Who we are, and what PrintNext is

PrintNext.me is an online marketplace for printing. We connect people who need something printed with independent print shops in their area. The platform is operated by Nik Soft Designs LLP. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “PrintNext” mean that company.

The print shops on PrintNext are separate, independent businesses. They are not our branches, our employees or our agents. When you place an order, the printing itself is done by the shop you chose or that we routed your job to. We are responsible for the platform — the quoting, the payment handling, the order tracking and the dispute process. The shop is responsible for the print.

Because of that, PrintNext acts as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and as a marketplace e-commerce entity under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. We do not review the content of documents before they are printed.

2.Your account

  • You need to be able to enter into a contract to use PrintNext. If you are under 18, use the service with a parent or guardian.
  • Give us details that are actually yours and actually correct. Your phone number and email are how a shop and we reach you about a job — a wrong number usually means a print nobody collects.
  • Your login is yours. Do not share it. Tell us straight away at support@printnext.me if you think someone else has got into your account.
  • You can order as a guest without creating an account. You will still get your order and your print code, but a guest order is harder for us to tie back to you later — so keep the order number.

3.Placing an order

You upload a file, choose how you want it printed — paper size, colour or black and white, single or double sided, copies, finishing — and we show you a price. That price is a quote from the shop, calculated from their rates and your settings.

An order becomes a contract when your payment is confirmed, or when you agree to pay at the counter and the shop accepts the job. Before that, either side can walk away.

A shop can decline a job — they may be closed, out of a paper stock, or unable to do the finishing you asked for. If that happens we will try to route your job to another shop, or refund you.

Check the quote before you pay. Page counts are read from your file automatically. If a document is unusual — an embedded spreadsheet, a mixed-size PDF, a scan of a scan — the count can differ from what you expect, and the price follows the count.

4.Your files, and what you may print

Your files stay yours. Uploading a document to PrintNext does not give us any ownership of it and does not give us the right to use it for anything except getting it printed for you.

You give us, and the shop printing your job, a limited licence to store, process and print the file — to check it will print correctly, to produce a preview, and to run the job. That licence exists only for your order, and ends with it.

By uploading a file you are telling us you have the right to print it. That matters: please do not upload someone else's copyrighted work, currency, government identity documents you are not entitled to reproduce, certificates or marksheets you are not entitled to reproduce, or anything unlawful.

A print shop is a person, in a shop, with your document on a screen. Do not send anything through PrintNext that you would not be willing to hand across a counter.

5.Paying

There are two ways to pay for an order:

  • Online, before printing. Card, UPI, net banking or your PrintNext wallet, through our payment partners. We do not see or store your card number — that stays with the payment gateway.
  • At the counter, when you collect. You pay the shop directly. The order still goes through PrintNext, and your print code still works the same way.

When you pay online, we hold the money until your job is complete, and then release the shop's share to them. This is deliberate: it is what lets us refund you if a job is never printed, and it is why a dispute is worth raising before the money moves on.

Prices shown to you include applicable taxes. Our commission and the GST on it are deducted from what we pass to the shop, not added to what you pay.

6.The PrintNext wallet

Your wallet is a prepaid balance you can top up and spend on orders. Money you top up is your money: if you close your account with a balance, or ask us for it back, we will return it to the source it came from, less anything already spent.

Promotional credit is different. Credit we give you — a signup bonus, a campaign credit, a goodwill gesture — can be spent on PrintNext orders and nothing else. It cannot be withdrawn to a bank account and it is not refundable in cash, even as part of a refund on an order it paid for. Your wallet shows promotional credit separately from your own money for exactly this reason.

A refund on an order paid from your wallet goes back to your wallet. If the order was partly paid with promotional credit, that part comes back as promotional credit.

7.Collection and delivery

Most orders are collected from the shop. When your job is ready you get a print code — show it at the counter and it releases your job. Treat the code like a ticket: anyone holding it can collect your prints.

Some shops deliver. Where they do, the delivery charge and the area they cover are set by that shop and shown to you before you pay. Delivery timing is an estimate, not a guarantee.

Please collect within a reasonable time. Shops have limited counter space, and an uncollected job containing your documents sitting on a shelf is in nobody's interest. A shop may destroy uncollected prints after a reasonable period.

8.Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel an order at no cost any time before the shop starts printing it, and we refund you in full.

Once printing has started, we generally cannot cancel — the paper and the toner are already spent, and a printed document cannot be put back. If your job has already been printed we will not normally refund it unless something went wrong with the print itself, in which case see the next section.

If a shop cannot complete your job, or nobody can, you get a full refund. Where you paid online, the refund goes back the way it came, usually within five to seven working days once we have processed it — how quickly it appears after that is up to your bank.

9.If something goes wrong

Prints come out wrong sometimes. Wrong size, cut off at the margin, colour that is not what you saw on screen, pages missing, or a job nobody ever printed.

Raise a dispute on the order. It opens a thread that you, the shop and our team can all see, and it stops the shop's payment from being released while we look at it. Tell us what you expected and what you got — a photo of the print helps more than anything else.

We will decide it one way or the other and tell you why, in that same thread. If we decide in your favour we refund you. If we decide in the shop's favour, their payment is released. You can also just close a dispute yourself if it gets sorted out directly.

For anything that is not about a specific order, use Support. If we have not resolved something to your satisfaction, our Grievance Officer is in section 16.

10.Terms for print shops

These apply in addition to everything above if you run a shop on PrintNext.

  • You are an independent business. Nothing here makes you our employee, agent, franchisee or partner. You set your own prices, your own hours and your own capabilities.
  • Approval. We review shops before they go live and may ask you to correct or add to your application. We verify your bank details before we can pay you.
  • Our commission. We charge a commission on completed orders, plus GST on that commission. The rate is shown on your dashboard, and every charge appears on your wallet statement with its full breakdown.
  • How you get paid. For orders the customer paid online, we hold the money and settle your share to you — either credited to your PrintNext wallet, which you withdraw to your bank when you choose, or paid out by bank transfer. Which of the two applies is shown on your Earnings page for every order.
  • Orders paid at your counter. You keep the cash. Our commission on those orders is deducted from your wallet instead, because it is the only way we can collect our share of a transaction we never handled. If your wallet does not cover it, the shortfall shows as an outstanding balance and clears automatically from your next top-up or online order.
  • Customer files. Print the job, hand it over, and do not keep, copy, share or use a customer's document for anything else. This is not negotiable and it is the fastest way to lose your place on the platform.
  • Quality. Print what was ordered, to the settings that were ordered. Where a dispute goes against you, the refund comes out of your share of that order.

11.Terms for partners

Partners introduce print shops to PrintNext and earn a share of the platform's revenue from the shops they bring on.

  • A shop is attributed to you when it signs up through your referral link or your emailed invitation. Attribution is to whoever introduced them first.
  • Your revenue share, and how long it runs for, are shown on your dashboard. It is calculated on the platform's commission from that shop's completed orders, not on the shop's turnover.
  • Invite the shops you have actually spoken to. Do not send invitations to purchased lists or to addresses that have not expressed interest — it is our sending reputation that pays for it, and it will cost you your partner account.
  • Do not describe yourself as PrintNext, or make commitments about pricing, timelines or features on our behalf.

12.Things you must not do

  • Upload or print anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to reproduce.
  • Use PrintNext to harass anyone, or to print material that incites violence or hatred.
  • Try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the platform, or get into an account, order or document that is not yours.
  • Place orders you do not intend to pay for or collect, or use promotional credit through accounts you created to collect it.
  • Interfere with the payment flow, or attempt to move money between wallets other than as the platform allows.

13.What we are and are not responsible for

We are responsible for running the platform properly: quoting your job from the settings you chose, handling your payment, keeping your files secure while we hold them, and dealing with your dispute fairly.

We are not responsible for the print quality of a job produced by an independent shop, beyond putting it right through the dispute process described above. We also cannot be responsible for a file that will not print because of how it was made, for delays caused by something outside our control, or for a shop's own conduct in their premises.

Where we are liable to you, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect losses — a missed deadline, a lost opportunity, a contract that did not get signed — and please do not rely on PrintNext as the only route to something time-critical without leaving yourself margin.

Nothing here limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be contracted out of.

14.Suspension and closing your account

You can close your account whenever you like. Tell us at support@printnext.me. We will settle any balance that is yours and return it, and we will keep only what we are required to keep — see the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently, or where we are required to. We will tell you why, and for a shop we will settle what is owed for work already completed.

15.Changes to these terms

We will update this document as the service changes. When we make a change that materially affects you, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top always says when this version was published, and continuing to use PrintNext after a change means you accept it.

16.Governing law and grievances

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at New Delhi, India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them.

Before that, though, please come to us. Most things are a misunderstanding that a person can sort out in a day.
